Documents people send with KoboRide

  • Contracts and agreements going out for signature, and coming back
  • Letters, applications, and forms for offices and schools
  • Cheques, invoices, and receipts
  • Passports, ID cards, and certificates someone left behind
  • Printed proposals and files for a meeting

Handed to the right person

Each order has a delivery PIN. Share it with the person receiving the documents. The rider asks for the PIN at the drop-off and enters it to complete the order, so you know it reached the person who had the code.

Add a note when you book, such as the office floor, the receptionist's name, or 'wait for signature', so the rider knows what to do.

Sending them back

If documents need to be signed and returned, book a second trip with the addresses reversed once they are ready. Each trip is priced by its distance.

Questions

How should I pack documents?
Put them in a sealed envelope or folder and write the receiver's name on it. Riders carry them in a delivery bag that keeps out rain.
Can the rider wait for a signature?
Add it to the order note and agree on it with the rider when they arrive. For a return trip, book a second order from the drop-off back to you.
How much does a delivery cost?
The fare is ₦400 plus ₦250 per km between pickup and drop-off, with a minimum of ₦800. The app shows the exact fare before you book.
How do I pay?
Pay the rider in cash at pickup or drop-off, or pay online by card or bank transfer when you book.
How far can a rider go?
Each trip can be up to 10 km, because riders use bicycles. If a drop-off is too far, the app tells you before you book.
